Just saw the Village...

Odd, but I liked 6th sense, unbreakable and signs.. but I DON'T like M. Night shahahahahaaalam (whatever)

So I asked myself, if I don't like the guy why am I giving him my money. As much as this movie sounded tempting.. I chose to boycott.

Good timing from what I hear.

PS:
that director's premadonna act got bothersome to me. I saw the sci-fi 'unoffical' thing about him and couldnt even watch it all.

We decided this weekend to see harold and ??? go to white castle!

Probably see it Sunday.

you know what, I take it back..i dont think the movie was bad..a btetter word for me would be disappointing...M night should be ashamed.

It was not scary. It was dumb.

Scary movies give me nightmares, too. This was not scary at all.

the sci-fi channel 'unauthorized biography' was a hoax. they just made it up to hype the movie, you know, get everyones attention. so dumb....that they made it, waste of time.

See, I wanna see it...If its a dumb scary movie, then I know its fake and dont get scared

I think MOST movies these days are over rated and People pay to see action, tons of fake could never happen plots and as attention spans weaken..thats the type of movie's we get...BUT I have a short attention span, so bring em on...

but - I am a big M. Night fan and loved the movie! I think he is one of those directors that you either have to love or you just don't like. There's no in between!

i am torn...see i liked the sixth sense but did not care for unbreakable or signs. i'm hoping the village is a scary as the commericals make it to be.

I was the SOOOO looking forward to seeing this movie. I am a big fan of M. Night Shayamalan (sp?) But i have to say like someone said above the word that best descibes this movie is:
DISAPPOINTING.

It was extremely predictable and not scary AT ALL! Not even a cool twist....BLAH

I wasnt 100% disappointed w/ The Village. It was not what I was expecting, but I thought it was a well produced film. The acting was good too. I love joaquin phoenix!!! He is totally hot and he was not in the movie enough. Plus it was kinda predictable. Not horrible, but def not what I expected

question about the hoax interview (which, i think it's hysterical that they did that....cracks me up because i fell for it )

during the show, did they interview Johnny Depp? I fell asleep, and when i woke up the next day, ym husband told me that they spoke with him, and he was supposed to be in it, but he got freaked by the director and decided against it.

is that part true?
