So, I have been interviewing multiple vendors and now it is getting to the point where I am ready to choose a photographer, videographer and cake person. But, how do I tell all the other people that I was meeting with that I am NOT choosing them? Do I just not answer their calls? Do I write them an email?
I hate telling people no....

i just didnt answer thier calls...i just feel like if i was going to choose you i would call and let you know.. if not.. take a hint..im bad!! but if you call me everyday you can bet im not picking you

i waited until they called me back and if and when they did I told them I'm sorry but I've already booked someone.
It's probably not the proper thing to do but I felt bad calling up someone to specifically telling them I'm not using them

You can always just tell them you decided to go with someone else when they call, that way they stop wasting your time and theirs. It's not rude, you won't hurt their feelings I'm sure they hear it almost everyday. Just say no haha, don't even stress about it.

I'm like that too - I probably wouldn't answer their calls either. While FH and I were planning the e-party, I picked my cell up because I thought I recognized the number. Well, it was another DJ we were looking at, but we didn't choose him. It was so awkward telling him that we decided to choose someone else.

Well what I say to the vendor when I dont want to use them is: 'DONT CALL ME EVER AGAIN OR I WILL REPORT YOU TO THE BBB' just kidding. I am really nice also. Ifs its a music vendor I just tell them that I have not start looking for music yet, etc etc. Or I say sorry I have booked already. Its OK to say no, these vendors have heard the work NO plenty of times

I do call them and let them know I won't be using them however I don't tell them who I chose to go with even though they ask. I don't know why but I hate when I get the consistent calls from vendors asking if I made my decision yet.
