just show up?

just show up?

Do I need an appointment to visit reception halls? Or can FH and I just show up and take a look around?

I'd kinda like to get a feel for a few places before I sit down and start talking details with the banquet managers. can I do that?

Call and Make a RSVP... this way it is better and they can give u ALL the time for U!
Imagine if u show up when another Bride has made an appt too??!!!
Then She will go first bc she made the appt...

When i was looking, i did appts for ALL of them!

Most of them require an apt because they like to have enough time to tlak and show you everything and also if you just show up the rooms may not be available for you to view...

I would call and make an appointment, and maybe show up a few minutes early so you can look around at the grounds first

I called before going, just to make sure there was no event going on or anything and that someone was going to be there to show us around. But I think that if you go during the week you should be fine without an appointment.

You're totally right, As much as I'd love to see an actual event going on I would HATE to interrupt someone's wedding! My luck I'd stumble in on a couple during their vows.

I'm not a wedding crasher!! lol

Do you think it's too late to make some appointments for this weekend? I'm gonna stay in the city, how many do you think I can squeeze into one day?

def not too late! I wouldnt do more than 2 since some of them can be long appointments especially if you are interested.

Some halls will give you an exact appointment....other halls will tell you to come any time between these set hours. I called first to just confirm that they were seeing couples that day (you never know).

Most appointments I went on were like 30-45 minutes. The most we did were like 2 halls in one day. I didn't want to be overwhelmed.

PLUS U are able to see an EVENT going on if u make an appointment!!! I was able to see two events with my RH!!!!!!

I'd make an appointment. We showed up at one RH without an appt and they were not able to help us out. The ones we made an appt with was great because we got to see everything, had questions answered, etc.

I just showed up to a couple places but you're better off making an appnt bc one place no one was there and another had a party going on so they wouldn't let us even see the room.
