Hi,

We just started looking at photographers/videographers... I know prices vary depending on what you want but can anyway give me a range of what a reasonable one would cost!

Also what are some key questions me and FH should ask!

As part 3 of my question, can anyone recommend who they are using-- preferably someone with offices in Nassau or NYC!

We're using Patken. My cousin and my friend used them and they did a great job. The albums are beautiful!

I am using Imagine. They do excellent work and the prices are good...not the cheapest...but not the most expensive. I think with Imagine you truly get what you pay for. Prices vary by package and she will work with you to customize.

Definitely check out George from Right Angle, I used him, there are pics in my album. I cant say enough about him, he is great to work with and his work is amazing!

Some questions to ask:

How many photogs you get?
How many pictures do they take?
How many proofs do you get?
How long until you get your proofs?
How are you given your proofs? (CD?)
How many hours do they work for?

I know he is far, but Marcophotoinc.com is my photographer. He has pretty reasonable prices, I loved his payment plan, and he has great pictures. He is unfortunately in Bohemia, all the way out in Suffolk. I do have to say though, just like I have told many other brides, I sat with other photographers such as Bella, and some other photographers, and they just didn't compare to the work that marco does. From my POV anyway.

He starts at about 2,500. Video is a set price of I think 1,700 I believe. It's up to you.

I second Marco Photography. Beautiful work! Definitely worth the trip!!

We are using Lawrence Photography. They have an office on LI and one in Bayside. Cindy (who we met with) was very nice and worked with us. We are also using them for our video.
