Just starting....

Okay so I been reading reviews on this site since my friend told me how great it is. I got engaged on Christmas day and the only thing that we have done so far is book the hall (Chateau Briand). LOVE this place. Anyways, the wedding date is 11/30/07 and I have no clue as to what to do next...if its too early (if there is such a thing as too early when planning a weddng). What were the very first things that you all did after booking the hall?

next, start looking for either your band or dj and photographer and video and flowers.

Congrats and welcome!!! Happy planning....its never too early to start!!! After I did hall/church i worked on photo and dj next......check out the 07 boards, there are a ton of ladies already planning!!!

Congratulations!!! I'm right around the same time as you.......I have only done my hall and church so far......the next thing for me is a photographer.

welcome... BEWARE... you WILL get addicted to this site!

I can recommend a good priced, AWESOME florist you can go see if you want to start doing someting. Go see John at Flower Michele. I just went yesterday and LOVED him! REALLY fair prices! And it will TOTALLY get you excited about the wedding decorations!

Belated Congratulations on your Christmas engagement! What took you so long to get here? lol

go for the photo next. that can be time consuming for many brides.

Congrats! Photography took me a long time to decide on....that and the music were the hardest things for me to decide on. Happy Planning!

FH & I booked the church and RH first, then we booked the DJ company, then the florist, and we just booked the photographer & videographer this past week. Next I am going to start looking for dresses for both myself and BM's, and also limo's.

Hey congrats! I got engaged on christmas day and my wedding day is right after yours, Dec 1, 2007. So far I have my church, recption hall and limos booked. I started looking at dresses for fun. Next I am moving onto flowers, photog and DJ. Happy planning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got engaged Nov. 28 and I have my hall, DJ, flowers, Photo and Video and officiant booked.
I would go with Photo/Video next.....Good luck planning!
