just thinking...(vent)

i hate being up late at night thinking.
because i start to think of things that i don't want to think about. and then i get sad.
my brother is over in kuwait right now - in the marines. he's been there since february. he was supposed to come home over a month ago - but they asked him to lead another mission and he said yes, so now he's there until november at least.
and i usually try not to think about him too much because it worries me, and then i get sad and cry, but for some reason tonight - maybe it's the terrible reality tv i'm watching...i'm just thinking about him and i'm worried. i'm worried that he won't be back soon and that something terrible will happen, and i can't imagine it.
i shouldn't think about it because it doesn't help anything.
i'm sorry - just needed to vent a little

I am sure everything will be alright.

A friend who I grew up with is a marine and he is a tank specialist and he is suppose to be on a weeks leave this month but the scary part is they could call him at any time to go to Iraq.

I am sure everything will be alright and he has a wonderful sister at home waiting for him

thanks....i'm sure everything WILL be ok - i just start thinking and well, you know what happens...
he did survive a few months in iraq already...
and a few months in the persian gulf....and now a few months in kuwait....so the odds are good that he will make it back safe this time too!
i guess i have to think positive thoughts!

i tried to email him last night because i was thinking about him...but the email got sent back to me. so i have no idea where he is or why it's not working. he called the house yesterday though...so i guess that's positive..
