i am having the same problem and i dont have favors yet and my wedding is in 11 daysi finally came up with some ideas this weekend so looking into that now
I agree, I feel like so many people don't even use the favors after the wedding and they end up in the trash, but still I feel like I MUST have favors. I want to get something people will actually like and use in the future. Someone mentioned wine with wine glasses and it sounds really cool, but then packaging that is another issue!

did you see the really cute olive oil glass jars that say love and the o is a olive, its really cute

What are you thinking of?? I can use all the help I can get! My family is very italian so they are expecting traditional favors but I seriously can't find anything that I like that hasnt been done 7458354 times before!
fh's family is very italian too but i dont want traditional favors. At first i was looking at mini fondue sets, then these sushi sets which are so cute, its two flyte plates with a mini sake glass and chopsticks. People can still use the plates for other purposes hahaha.
now im thinking of martini glasses with chocolate truffles. Or champagne splits with truffles. Its funny bc i like the martini glasses and champagne splits idea but then i think ppl will think DUH you gave martini glasses with champagne buti prefer it over flutes so that probably won't work. Also theres this company www.mariebelle.com that has a lot of cute hot chocolate sets, boxed chocolates and goes with my color scheme hahaha. Or maybe martini glasses with a mini shaker, im stuck onthese ideas now

I was having such a hard time finding favors, so I decided to dontate the $$ I would've spent on favors to The American Cancer Society since my ather and Aunt passed away from Cancer.
And if people don't like it they can S U C K IT!!!!!

the plates are cute though and work for other things, but yeah i worried about the same thing
My aunt passed away last month so I am going to do a donation in her honor to a lung cancer org. However, I feel like I still should do favors too. Anyone have ideas on acknowledging the donation but also giving a favor? I am kind of stressing on this.

I really like the martini glass with mini shaker or the glass with chocolate truffles. I think either one of those would be really nice favors.

might not be that bad. The wine is easy, just buy the cellophane bags to put them in and tie it with ribbon. The wine glasses will come in boxes so you can just wrap them
I agree they have to be the most annoying thing to search for! I did get once wind chimes and actually used it until it broke other than that, I can't remember the favors I've gotten at weddings!
