Just wanted to put this out there for the party people!
Sooooo the bar at my hotel closes at 2:00 AM...I know the my entire BP is coming to the hotel, plus a bunch of our other friends, and that we all wouldn't make it to the bar until like 1:30 after everyone got shuttled over and changed...
So one of my BM had an amazing suggestion--she went to an afterparty where the bride and groom rented out a conference room to continue partying in--they brought in an ipod with speakers and beer and wine....
So I asked my hotel to do this and they said for 4 hours it would be $150 to rent! I thought this was pretty good I can also pay extra for each person to have food and a bartender come in, but I'm not sure if I'm doing that just yet.
Anyways....I just wanted to share in case anyone's hotel bar was closing early and/or they want to continue the party!

that's what we are doing too! A bunch of my friends had done it after their weddings, so i'm just copying them.

I'm in the same boat ... we aren't getting back to the hotel til like 1:30, and our hotel bar closes at 2. Thanks for the tip!

amazing idea were gonna call the hotel in the morning to find out!
our bar closes at 12, no way well be getting there so this is a great plan!
hopefully the hyatt in gc is reasonable!

that's a great idea! our bar closes at 2 and our party ends at 1 so by the time everybody gets to the hotel, the bar will be closed. thanks!

that's a great idea! i wasn't planning on doing an after party, but that's definitely something to consider now....
