So...my name is Jennifer -born & raised in Throggs neck, the Bronx. I recently got engaged and my best friend told me i HAD to join this site! She was an '09 bride -just got married in February and she found liweddings.com to be extremely helpful!
We already booked our Church, because I wanted a specific date, and have several appointments with venues this upcoming weekend. I've always wanted to get married in one of the venues in New Rochelle. Any tips? Advice? pointers? LOL
That's about as far as I've got planned out. Once we get our venue...I'll be booking our music , video, and photographer.
Feel free to pop in to say hi & offer any advice you may have! I'm open to all suggestions!

Hi and welcome! I think surf club in new rochelle is really nice. Also if you are open to the bronx marina del ray was recently renovated and it it nice too.

welcome!! my fh is from the Bronx close by you!! we looked at marina del rey, surf club, vip club, beckwith pointe and there was another one around there too we also looked at glen island harbor good luck

Congrats I am also a born and raised Bronx girl...I am a teacher at Lehman HS I am sure you are familiar lol. I am booked for the Surf Club in July...pricey but worth every penny! The Surf Club is undergoing major renovations...so you might want to wait until you can see the finished project..but there are so many to choose from...so I would just go and see what you like and what best fits your budget!
