So...my name is Jennifer -born & raised in Throggs neck, the Bronx. I recently got engaged and my best friend told me i HAD to join this site! She was an '09 bride -just got married in February and she found liweddings.com to be extremely helpful!

We already booked our Church, because I wanted a specific date, and have several appointments with venues this upcoming weekend. I've always wanted to get married in one of the venues in New Rochelle. Any tips? Advice? pointers? LOL

That's about as far as I've got planned out. Once we get our venue...I'll be booking our music , video, and photographer.

Feel free to pop in to say hi & offer any advice you may have! I'm open to all suggestions!

Welcome and congrats! We looked at Surf Club, VIP and Glenn Island Harbor Club. We loved the glenn island...was a little too expensive though. we were stuck between surf club and marina del rey but ended up booking mdr. my sisters wedding was at surf club. feel free to fm me if you have questions!
