Just went today...

for the first time gown shopping!!!!!

It was a lot more fun than I thought it would have been, and the styles I actually liked were not what I would have expected to like! My mom started crying already at one dress!!! (and then I tried it on again at the end bc I really liked it too!!!)

Really feel like a bride now, but I HAVE TO START EVERYTHING ELSE!!! Totally agree with the other posts about feeling overwhelmed!

AND..... the diet starts ASAP!!!
Screw not wasting the holiday cookies -- they're going in the garbage....

i am very surprised that I really like the lacy, beady, long train-style dress. With a cathedral veil, too!!!

I feel almost foolish in a weird way that I am finally getting married (i feel like the last single girl on earth), so I never thought that I would be so into it!!!

I thought I wanted very simple, no lace, no beaded detail at all, and I'm sure I'll still try them, but I was so much more excited with the fancier, more formal-feeling gown!!!

So excited now!!!

I actually enjoyed dress shopping and I was dreading it every waking moment. I thought Id never find something I love and I found it on the first shot.
