Just when I thought life couldn't get any worse..

I've been having real stress lately with the wedding, and everything else..and my fh found out on thursday that he got laid off from his job...2 FRIGGEN MONTHS BEFORE THE WEDDING, AND 3 MONTHS AFTER WE BOUGHT OUR HOUSE. I can't take this crap anymore..i've been crying for 2 days wondering how we are able to make it through this..im worried sick about him and our future..I just hope he can find some other job soon with a stable salary...please say some prayers ..i could really use them

he's fine..he says hes relieved..because he feels he will get a better paying job with better hours..he worked long shifts and we hardly go to see each other..but im still nervous..hes without a salary you know?

well its actually more like he got fired..its 'don't come to work tomorrow' thats why im so worried

WHat does FH do for work?

he was a branch sales manager..he worked with mortgages

well buying houses never goes out of style! I'm sure he'll find a new job!

Did he work with a well known company? I think Wells Fargo is hiring..maybe he can look into that..

he they gave him 1 month..thats all..i think he got fired to be honest..its a stupid reason though to be fired..so i don't know

The same thing happened to my friend's husband - the mortgage industry is really bad now. He ended up going to Verizon as a salesman and is doing quite well - even got two promotions already (I think he's a regional now in charge of a whole team).

Aww, I'm so sorry to hear that!! I don't blame you for being nervous...I would be too. But, try not to make yourself sick. I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason! You don't usually see it at the time, but later on you may find that it worked out for the best. If he wasn't really appreciated or recognized where he was, maybe he will find something better. I'll say a prayer for you to St. Jude. It will work out.

But even though things seem that bad right now, trust me it can always be worse. Be thankful for the other things you do have and pray that things get better

I'm so sorry to hear you and FH are going through this right now. I know it is hard to find the postive in all of this but try to keep your head up. I'm sure your FH will find an even better job and somehow everything will work out just fine. I will that your FH finds something soon!

I definately can get worse. My friend called me friday and said, 'Are you stressing wedding details because if you are stop now!'.
I dont know if you have seen on the news , about the crane accident in NYC. Well if not , a 30 year old guy died and was getting married in 3 weeks. My friend is friends with his sister-in-law and will be going to his buriel on tuesday!!!
So, please, I know that him losing his job right before the wedding is terrible, will definately cause stress and put a strain on things but guess what... its fixable, people can help, he can get another job etc...
Lets all think about this poor bride to be, his family for a second... Thats ' the worse thing' that can happen. I said so many prayers for this poor girl. His funeral is in a church 5 minutes from my house. I was sick when I heard it, and trust me, with 1 week to go, yeah, there are things I can stress over but I refuse to.
Lets all count our blessings and say a prayer for him and his loved ones and remember.... everything will work out!!!
