Just when we think our weddings are expensive...

Original post by ShortBride

I saw an episode of 'Whose Wedding is it Anyway' where a wedding for 90 people was going to cost $200,000! The groom got really mad when he found out (she never told him!), so they had to 'cut' it down to $160,000!

and i thought our counterpart on the show was bad. she spent a 100k and it was horrible. her cake almost fell over and the groom said something wrong and she got really pissed.

my wedding on the show was perfect and we spend less then 40k... money doesn't pay for everything.

no

The only thing we got from the show was 15 minutes (which ran up a long time ago)
and a 3 day trip to Mohegun Sun (dinner, spa treatment, etc..)

edit to add
we gained friends via this show, its another keepsake of our planning process and it was great to share our love story with everybody.
we had strangers appproch us and say we saw you on TV...we love you story and so many FM's. thats probally the best benefit we got.

we didnt go yet, we probally go after we finish setting up our co/op

Thanks, it great to share..

funny you mention her aunt and this show.
Traci was doing her formal shots at the hotel, and they filmed a scence when her aunt starting crying. DW had no idea cause she was taking pics.

Until we saw the show, she never knew that happen and thought that was so sweet because her aunt use such good lines.
