JUST WONDERING!!!!!!

Does the shower have to be in the same theme as the wedding.(might be a silly question) thanks

Could you be a little more specific? Do you mean a real theme wedding such as cinderella or renassance? If so, I would think it would be fun, but not altogether necessary. I don't know if there are alot of 'rules' with theme weddings.
Maybe someone else here knows more about this sort of thing..............

thanks ladies. i guess i meant for example as you know my sister curly2003 is getting married in sept. she says it does have to go with the wedding. we were just wondering thanks again!!!!

It does not have to be the same theme. I'm hosting a shower for my best friend and the only thing I used from the wedding are her colors. I incorporated them into the invitation. I think the theme can be something about the bride. Maybe she has a hobby or likes something in particular. The theme for my friend is a Fairy Tea Party. She collects fairies and I thought a little tea party/brunch with all the ladies would be fun.

I don't think the Theme necessarily has to be the same, but DEFINITELY use the colors of her wedding.
For my shower, they used my colors and it made it so special to me

No, it doesn't have to because 1. you're not hosting the shower and 2. little touches as a 'preview' of things to come is cute, but you wouldn't want overkill and take the look away from the wedding with having those sames guests seeing it first. That's MO, anyway.
