I am using Ellen of face the day for my makeup. Also using one of her ladies, Diana for hair.
I am also using Ellen at Face the Day NY for Make-up. I have her hairstylist Leiselle for my day.

@cupcake...can't figure out how to respond to you directly but that is awesome. Ellen is great. Hopefully more brides of color will be able to find her on here because this site wasn't very helpful I. The makeup/hair stylist department

Yes! I think I need to do that. I am taking my Mom and Mother-in-law to a tasting at Swan club on Friday. I'm excited as my Mom hasn't seen the venue yet. :o)

Hey Ladies, I'm still struggling with favors. I remembered I had a crazy idea. I thought about having a mini carnival. So I would order flags from my guest's country of origin and then have our name and date embroidered. But when the music says, 'Get some ting and wave!' They can use their favor. LOL Is that cool or cheese? I'm also imagining how cool the pics would be with the colors of the flags waving. I haven't told anyone yet. I can see my mom shutting it down... But ladies tell me what you think ...

Love that idea! It shows unity amongst all the Caribbean islands! It would definitely make a great photo opt. Girl, don't tell your friends or family about this unique idea.

Ooh I see! I think they will get it. They know that's how we do during the West Indian Day parade. I have a close friend from the South and she loves our Caribbean culture.
