Just Wondering.... Any Caribbean/West Indian Brides 2013/2014?
Original post by LadyBuggz
Hey Hey Hey to my fellow Sistrens!
I noticed an older West Indian Bride Thread from 2010. I was wondering are there any current Caribbean Brides getting married this year or Next Year?

Yup it's very similar to coquito. And it tastes really good. I found a website to order the glass bottles and I'm going to have my friend design the personalized labels. I've changed my mind so many times about the favor. I think this time I'm going to stick to the bottles of kremas.

Welcome 'Pretty in Pink' That's a beautiful mix. Congrats on your wedding! Are you doing a dowry ceremony? (I'm not quite sure of the correct name). My cousin's husband is from Ghana. I loved the beautiful garments she wore at the dowry celebration. ;o)

LOL! But I think that's so cool. One of my cousins ex-wife was from the Philippines and I think she changed like 9 times at their wedding. After a while I would be too tired to zip down another dress. ;o)

Ooh that's a very good question. I haven't thought about it yet but when I get closer to the wedding date, I will have to shop around. My sister's friend may do the make up for us as she's a make up artist.

My cousin is a hair dresser so I already asked her. I'm debating on a makeup artist. I was going to do a trial and then decided... Any recommendations?

My FH wants to do that! We love the show 'Four Weddings' and every time they show a couple doing that, we keep saying to ourselves we should do that too! ;o)

That's great! Are you going to decorate the broom yourself? At my cousin's wedding in England, they gave out mini decorated broom magnets as favors. They came out cute. ;o)
This is how the broom magnets looked. My cousin used her color scheme of purple and white: Broom Magnets

I'm not sure yet. Still thinking about it. I might so that it goes with my color theme.

I am using Ellen of face the day for my makeup. Also using one of her ladies, Diana for hair.
