So I asked DH the other morning when for what feels like the billionth time our basement neighbor's alarm clock was going off for eternity: 'If I kill a man for not turning off his alarm clock and slowly driving me insane, is it justified?' He said yes, he petitioned the Supreme Court and it was unanimous. AWESOME because you might be seeing my mug on TV for real if the asshat doesn't stop being a jerk....the man's awake and yet the same clock went off 2 times [once for over 20 minutes]. Now his clock radio is on....seriously, if he doesn't stop.....
I'll have to hurt him and the 'imaginary' girlfriend and baby NOT living with him.
more on that subject later.

Whoa, I'd put a stop to that extra people living there thing right now. Does he pay for his own utilities?

ha!
well...before we moved in we were told 1/2 utilities. the week we were to move in, he and the girlfriend broke up and she moved out...so it was changed to 1/3 and 2/3...well...once all his asshat antics began, so did a female voice and eventually a crying screaming baby. she's been at that house 24/7 [well maybe more literally 24/5] since October and when we tlel the landlord that we aren't paying 2/3 anymore b/c she is living there again [she watches TV all day, they have no windows so lights are always ON and does laundry CONSTANTLY...they do more than we do] the guy downstairs just lies and says 'she comes for a week each month to visit. BS. you sleep togehter and call each other honey and sweetheart. I've had ENOUGH. Since the utlities payments are added to our rent...I am just NOT paying more than half. If the landlord has a problem...he can kick the guy out. He's LYING to him and it's stupid....I don't care that every 5-6 days he drives her back to Binghamtom for 2 days and then the 3 of them return. Her car has been parked UNMOVED on the side of the house since October so I am not at all sympathetic. She doesn't work and here I am pregnant and working 45 hours a week so I can pay for her lazy a$$ to run up MY light bill?!?!?!?!
W T F!?!?!?!?!?!
so in a nutshell that's about it....oh and on days they aren't home, they set the alarms to go off and we have no way of having them turned off short of demanding the landlord to drive out and do it.
Once I wrote him a letter letting him know which songs were played and what times as I could hear them so clearly. Another morning I stormed down the stairs and beat on his door until they cut it off only to hear his whiny LAZY girlfriend b*tch back with: 'what time is it?' You know me too well....I answered her. Dumba$$. I've been calm, I've done the understanding thing, I've written nice letters [and yes, sent copies to the landlord...ladies, I was blaming this tiny growing baby on my inability to sleep after 4am until I realized it was his alarm waking me up [i just thought at first it was a coincidence that it was going off when i was awake].
The best part is the landlord says to just take $25 off our rent. Um...the difference in the utilities being 1/3 and 1/2 are generally $50 EACH. so please explain how $25 helps me out?
So you see ladies, my thread title should read: My neighbor is an asshat: Ways to cause your own justifiable homicide.

Holy crap. I'm sorry, that really blows! It's a good thing that you're putting all this stuff in writing, I do the same thing when I'm dissatisfied with the landlord.
Does the landlord know you're pregnant? He's not going to be a jerk about that, is he?
