I get terrible cramps too!! I usually just take midol and have some tea. Hope you feel better!!!
I already calculated my cycle and mine will end the day before the wedding......so I guess I'll be in rare form the week leading up to the big day!! I should probably warn FH now!! lmao

Re: K - so aunt flo
i was on bc from about 18 on till 20, i tried ortho tri and it was great but i messed up a cycle, went back on and was an emotional wreck
then i tried loestrin - fat and miserable the patch - threw up the whole night the 1st day, coudlnt' take it
i m a horrible pill taker and i would forget, so i figured it was easier to deal with the pain - its just annoying!!!
the doc said it should get better after babies, but we'll see - anyone have this before they're babies? did it get better/worse?

Lay down in warm sweats under a blankey with the heating pad and watch Lifetime Movie Network!!

Re: K - so aunt flo
My best friend is any prescription pain killer: 600 mg of Ibruprofren (sp?) or 600 mg of Naproxin Sodium. When my mom runs out of that, I take a double dose of over the counter stuff. A cup of chamomile tea can help take away the pain and help me fall asleep for a while. I've had mine for 16 years and the pain has not gotten better. Even when I was exercising 6 days a week, I still got cramps (slightly less killer). My mom told me hers got better after she had kids but I'm not willing to give up my life to alleviate cramps. I second the suggestion of sweats and Lifetime Movie Network--a classic combination!

I used to feel like someone was poking my ovaries with a sword starting from mid cycle and ending when flo left. My doc put me on meds for PCOS(cysts) and now the pain is gone
