Yes, it's the same one. I was the one that posted that on the other boards... I'm sure she does great work-when she shows up and doesnt cancel. But as I explained on the other boards- she cancelled on me the day of our trial and her excuse was that she was unable to check email-so she didnt know if we were definitely on or not. So she made plans with her friends. Not very professional. Then when I posted that, I got all these emails from girls telling me that she cancelled on them right before her wedding. She even cancelled on one girl 24 days before her wedding. So I'm sure she does great work but I'd be scared that she might cancel on you. Sorry ladies, I dont want to upset anyone who has already booked her. Maybe it was just me that had a bad experience

Dont be sorry-you are being honest and that is what the boards are for. I used her and had a 99% great experience with her. Everyone is going to have a different experience-and there is nothing wrong with that.

Now when a bride gets out of hand and bashes a vendor and twists the truth-then its a different story.

Karen Abitol is a vendor on here, I used her for my wedding and she did exactly what I wanted, showed her a picture and it was done-i did the airbrush

ETA:it stayed all night, thru pictures at OWG (and I sweat like no other) and the next morning it was still going strong.

Absolutely! I agree w. you Peggy. I have been on the boards for the last couple weeks looking for a make up vendor. After you and a few others suggested using Karen, i contacted her. She was super sweet in emails and seemed really interested in meeting for a trial. Then I call her this morning as she asked-she wanted me to call her at 11 and give her directions. She was going to come from another trial or something.... She calls me back and says she was unable to check email, so she didnt know if I had wanted to do trial. Don't you think you could have called if you werent sure? Anyways, I'm very upset. She knew I really wanted to do the trial today bc I work during the week and was off today-bc I'm a teacher and school was closed. Anyways, I'm getting all upset again..lol

Dont get upset, I agree she should have called you and made sure. I would have-and I dont even run/own a business. I mean I was almost perfectly happy with her, she did what I asked was on time (tho I was late) and was very nice.....except she was on the phone most of the time. Which annoyed me but she did my mu while she talked so I really didnt care too much about it. You have every right to be upset-BUT look at it as she set herself up for you to be unhappy with her services. Youll find someone else and you will be completely confident in them NOT cancelling onyou

I might have really liked her too.. If she had shown up and not cancelled. And I'm sure she does great work- Look at Peggy! She looked BEAUTIFUL!!!
