Karen - How was Emma's Bday Party???

Just wondering how the celebration went....I was thinking of you today...the rain held off until late afternoon, at least!

Hey Claud - I feel so loved

Ok well... We got up yesterday about 7 and started cooking mac n cheese, made the fruit salad and decorated her blues clues cake which came out soooo good if I dont say so myself. Ill post pics when I get them from my mom. Around 11 we went to get a new patio set (an early wedding gift from FH's grandma) FINALLY got one at 3PM!!!!! Came home kept cleaning the house like a mad woman, setting everything up in the house, helping the FIL's set up the patio set AND checking the weather because it looked rainy. 5PM - it started to rain

Her party started at 5!!!! But about 5:30 it cleared up and everyone made their way outside to have burgers, chicken and hot dogs. everything was a HUGE hit! All my candles kept the bugs away! Around 7 we started opening presents... There were 2 2 year olds opening them for Emma. I have no idea who got her what it was a free for all!

Then we had cake which Emma wore so beautifully. Then a bath and bedtime.

All in all it was a complete success! I couldnt have been happier! Everyone had a great time.

I cant believe my little girl will be 1 on Thursday! Time is flying. She did show everyone how she can walk and play with her friends. Shes so big.
