I am also so happy for both of you and your new husbands of course. Now that you are both married ladies, I think all of the brides to be that I counted down with on this board are married! We have made room for all the newer girls :o)
Laura-I`m so glad you got Steve, he really is great. And your ring bearers/flower girls must have been adorable.
Karen-So glad that Murphy`s & Spin Around Sound worked out so well...did you ever take pictures at the park?
And I wish you both nothing but the best in your marriages...I can`t believe we are married 2 months this week! I am in the process of writing out the thank you`s and we are going on our real honeymoon next week to Alaska for 12 days! It keeps getting better. I have yet to go through the 'post nuptial depression' that I have heard of :o) Enjoy!

Steve was phenomenal--question for you--did you give anything to your Milleridge person--meaning the person you booked with( I think yours was Tiffany) did you do anything for her? because if it wastn for Nadine things woulddnt havent been as great as they were--
if you didnt do you have any ideas? i was thinking gift certificate or something like that?
any ideas would be great

Hi Elizabeth;

We skipped the pictures in the park. It was looking a bit shabby when I checked it out earlier in the week, and we had so many people at the church the receiving line took forever. We thought we'd be getting to Leonard's around Noon or before, and it was almost 12:30 by the time we got there.

Have fun on your Alaskan cruise. It sounds wonderful. I'm with you - no post-nuptial depression here either. I'm happy not to have all the planning details to worry about, and to have time to get on with my other creative endeavors, although I do find myself looking at things and thinking how it would make a nice favor, or wedding decoration, or bridesmaids gift... :-) That too will pass!

Unless she did something amazingly over the top, I wouldn`t be inclined to tip her or give an extra gift. We actually had Lesley as our coordinator and while everything went great, the wedding expenses have to end somewhere. I am going to send her a nice thank you note with one of the thank you pics. But it's your call of course if you want to, by all means do so. A gift certificate from Barnes & Noble seems to work for anyone.

B&N sounds like a great idea
Nadine did go above and beyond--there were certain things that were important to us and because of her that was conveyed to Steve who made sure that is was carried out--
we were also going to do something for the florist until i found out yesterday that the corsages we had ordered for all the women(7 in all)were wrong--so glad i didnt see that that day ;-)
