Only 26 days left for me and 25 for you. It's so exciting.

Hi. My fiance has rented dozens of tuxedos (no exaggeration either- he has 5 sisters and has been in 5 friends weddings and proms) from Foresto Tuxedo. They are in Mineola on Willis Avenue between Jericho Tpke and Hillside Ave. Give them a try!!

For a DJ we went with Spin Around Sound. www.spinaroundsound.com

I'm assuming the weather is good in NY. Here is California it is so hot, so I don't wish this on us. Yesterday it was 95 degrees. All I ask is that is doesn't rain. But, whatever happens, happens. It will still be a great day, afterall, we are getting married.

I wish you the best of these last few days.

Hye guys! Don't forget me! Only 18 days for me! I'm freaking!

We don't see how they could be easily taken down quickly and are wondering if they would be left up regardless (if not reserved). Has anybody reserved the lights and feel it was worth the expense? Has anyone not reserved them and they were up regardless? We have seen several wedding pictures from the catering hall and almost all have the lights what are the chances the lights will be up?

Good luck and we're all praying for great weather for all of us!!!

18 days, WOW. Good Luck to all!!!!!!!

I think its wonderful that your FMIL is hosting this for you. Mine made no such offer and since my dad had already done so much for us, we had to pay for our own rehearsal dinner. Cost us close to $700! Be sure to give her a big fat kiss!

:o)

yes, i'm very excited...we finally booked a cruise to Bermuda and things are falling into place...we went to Land's End and picked our menu and they were very accomodating and we went during a nice day and they've made some changes to the grounds that made us happy....we're now putting together some lists for the DJ, favors, got our license, wedding bands, and we're on our way....who'da thought it would all come together...good luck to everyone who's bugged out...it all works out in the end.....

We are getting married on March 17th. I grew up in Queens and then lived in Manhattan for 7 years. When I moved back to Queens, FH was such a great choice b/c it still is more surburb-ish but has that city flavor. My fiance calls it "Little Manhattan"...I would love to do the manicure meet. Afterall, since the ring came the nails always need to stay nice... When is your date/location etc.

Yes, I've heard nothing but elegance and first rate class about Russo's on the Bay. I know a couple getting married there in spring 2001...at $125 a head!!! Can't wait to enjoy that!!!
