i know i definitely want to go here for the hm, but i'm not sure where to stay. the hyatt and princeville are out of our price range soooo.... any other suggestions for nice hotels? thanks!

We're staying at the Sheraton Poipu on the south shore--have heard rave reviews and the prices aren't *completely* out of control.

We are staying at the Sheraton as well, one of my BMs stayed there and had nothing but good things to say about the service, she said it was comprable to the Hyatt in Maui ( a 5 star hotel- the sheraton Kaui is 4 star). Good luck!

I stayed at the Kauai Marriott and LOVED IT. We had an ocean view, the pool was huge and gorgeous, and the grounds were fabulous. The service was phenomenal.
We had enough Marriott points (it's our charge card) and stayed for free, but I don't think their room rates are outrageous. You can check on their Web site.
