Kay Ann Bridals in Franklin Square...
I know most of you know from another post that they filed chapter 7 and closed down with alot of your gowns, well my FSIL's gown was one of them. She got a phone call yesterday from Kay Ann Bridals lawyer but couldnt understand the message and didnt get ahold of them until this afternoon to find out that they were allowing the brides to go into the store to get their gowns this morning at 8am. Needless to say she wasnt there but a friend called her to let her know that there were tons of people there getting there gowns with the police. FSIL called the lawyer again finally reaching them to be told she should've went this morning but they did manage to carry a few dresses out themselves so if they could match her name to one of the slips they might have it and sure enough her gown was one of them. Her friend is going down to the lawyers in Westbury to pick it up. She said now that she realizes why they asked her to pay for everything in full before ordering the dress as well as her bustle and all alterations. That I think should've be a red flag. Anyhow, if there is anyone else out there who needs to get there gown I suggest contacting Kay Ann Bridals lawyer. My FSIL is a real witch but I could see if she would share the phone number if anyone needs it.
