my FH and i picked out our weddings bands last weekend and mine needed to be sized down. when i picked my ring up, it wasn't perfectly round - it was flatter on the top (where the diamonds are) and bottom, making the ring oval-ish.
i wasn't sure how they would respond with my not wanting the ring, but so far they've been great. they are ordering a new ring 'made to order' so that it will be pre-made in my size. since that one won't be in until after my wedding date, they said i could hold onto this one until the new one comes in.
so even though they didn't do a great job sizing it the first time around, they have been real nice to deal with so far. will update you in august as to how the new ring looks...
