Keep your eyes open please

My friend, and bridesmaid, is heartbroken because her dog got out of their backyard this week and has been missing since Monday. She lives in Douglaston, Queens right near the Cross Island and close to Glen Oaks... it's near the border of Queens and Nassau... I was hoping you girls could keep an eye open and let me know if you see a dog that might be her.

Her dog's name is Maggie, she's a medium sized beagle, black/brown/white color, spayed, wearing a collar with tags and she's microchipped. She's very friendly and probably scared but a really sweet dog. If anyone sees her anywhere or thinks you might have please call!! By now she could have gotten pretty far so I am putting it out there for everyone. If you guys could keep her in mind on your travels, we would both really appreciate it!! (If you find her or a dog that looks like her, please send me FM and I will get notified on my phone).

Has she called any shelters or anything... tell her to call the aspca and they can have their cops look out for Maggie... hopefully shes ok!!!

I will call FH and let him know. I think he is working close to that area today and i will have him keep look out.

It's good maggie has the chip! That does help a lot and I hear of animals and owners reuniting bc of that chip.

Thanks girls, this has made me feel so much better... she was so upset yesterday, we called the 111th Precinct, Animal Care/Control, all the area vets, I will call the ASPCA today, I thought of it late last night.

It's so sad and scary knowing she's somewhere out there alone, beagles just love to run around so hopefully she's exploring and then she'll just stop and let someone find her. Thank you all so much for caring I will update if we hear anything or find out anything new.

not in that area but ill for her safe return! I have a beagle and they're known to do that.
