Re: keeping tradition
I'm skipping both the bouquet and garter toss. The last few weddings I went to the B&G skipped the tosses and I did not even notice until much later.

Re: keeping tradition
We are skipping the bok toss and the garter toss. Last wedding I went to no one participated and I would rather more time for dancing.

Re: keeping tradition
I'm skipping the bouquet toss and garter toss. Both traditions are just not me.
My DOC recommended that we do something because the guests will be expecting it. So we're doing an anniversary dance. All married couples are asked to go to the dance floor. One by one the couples are eliminated based on how long they have been married. When it's over, I give my bouquet to the couple who has been married the longest.

Re: keeping tradition
We're skipping both, we're older & the majority of our guests are married. We're doing the anniversary dance in lieu of this.
