i'm a no. I could possibly change between now and then. But i have a feeling it will annoy me. My HAIR annoys me most of the time. Plus i don't want to cover my dress detail.

This is actually something I'm not so sure about either. My gut reaction is NO, take it off, but when I said that at Bridal Reflections when I was ordering my gown, both women who were working with me and my mom all acted like it would be terrible if I took it off. In the end, I think its best to do whatever you are comfortable with. I think I'd be more comfortable without it on.

Re: Keeping veil on all night?

I am having my hair dresser put it on in such a way that I can get it off if I decide I want to. There was a thread about this not too long ago. Someone said that this is the only time in your life you would get to wear one, why not keep it on all night? It is a good point, I was planning on taking it off. So, I am going to leave myself the option in case it annoys me, if not, I think I might leave it...

Yes. I'm going to wear it all night - its elbow length, so it short enough and won't get in the way.

Since my mother paid a small fortune for my veil, I would feel awful if I didn't wear it all night.

I'm a maybe, depending on how annoying it gets when I'm dancing/eating. Or if it starts hurting my head.

I want too - but since I wanted a chapel length veil ... I am getting two tiers for the ceremony and then the longer one can be removed to the reception. I dont want ppl stepping on my veil all night

I kept mine on all night, I wore a tiara in case wanted to take the veil off, but I ended up wanting to leave it on all night! And I danced all night too!!!

I took it off about an hour into the reception (after the cocktail hour). It was only fingertip length but it just started to annoy me.

I am taking it off. I am wearing my hair down and I want everyone to see my hair and my tiara, not yards of netting.
