Well I finally got my appointment to go over my keepsake floral design for my bq tonight. I will be at my night job but warned them I am taking a break to go over this. I AM SOOO EXCITED!!!
Narrowed it down to Victorian Frame Rosewood
But not sure of the background fabric if i should pick an ivory fabric or a green (light green celedon) for the background.
Deff. getting the hand tied resemblance oval though - don't care for a big shadow box.
Can't wait to get it and then post a review - I PRAY it was worth the money.
Pic of what the hand tied look like in a gold frame.

Sounds and looks like it will be beautiful.
How does preservation work? Do you put your floweres in the freezer or something until you have to take it to Keepsake?

Well a month before my wedding I sent away with my depo for the preservation package.
They sent it (basically a big styrofoam box) with an ice pack and some directions. Kept my bq well hydrated through out the wedding by requesting a big bowl of water to be in the bridal suit. That night put it in the fridge - next morning next day aired it to keepsake.
They called to confirm it was received and then called me back to make an appointment to talk to someone about what I wanted (that is tonight). They basically take a bunch of pics of your flowers when they get it, take it apart individual dry the flowers out then restore the color and then do whatever you like with them. I like something to resemble my bq since I loved it but I didn't want a huge shadowbox with my invite or pic (just not us) so that is basically it for now. Its like $200-$800 depending on what your getting - I think my thing will come out to be $475-$515 about.
