i'm getting my flowers preserved, which i'm VERY excited about.
it's a $190 deposit toward the final payment. well, i just had my phone design consultation and my BALANCE is $450!!!!!! that's a $650 shadowbox!
i'm a little irritated because they charge for EVERY little thing...each stephanotis is $5 because they die in shipping. a bo-k resemblance is $25, lining is $15, ribbon is $$, etc.
if i had known it would be this much, i wouldn't have done it. i thought it was going to be about $400.
this thing better be beautiful and perfect!!

depending on what you get, they are different prices. When DW was done, it was about 400 bucks. Its the centerpiece of our new home.
I thought the sam ething that it wasn't worth it but now i see why it is...its a great peice on the wall in our house.....
You should think about it and compare this cost to some other cost that you are spending. This will be with us forever...i would post a pictuer but i don't have any here at work

That is why I decided not to do it as well once I get married...just figured it was going to add up - and in the long run knew it wasn't worth it - I'm paying enough for pics and video....I'll remember through those

FH and I just took it out of our budget too. I wanted it so badly, bu tthe cost of one is the cost of the shuttle for our guests -- we'd rather spend the money on the shuttle than the keepsake. Although its nice, its a luxury and we are spending $ on pictures and video. We have to cut cost somewhere...
