Hi,

I read in the thread about Westchester weddings that you have been to View on the Hudson -- you are one of the first people I have heard from who knows of the place! I know this is probably weird, since you said the wedding you went to was a few years ago, but I was wondering if you could just let me know if there is anything about the event that stood out in your mind, either good or bad? It has been very difficult getting feedback on the place and while I am thrilled with our decision, it would be nice to hear an opinion from someone who was actually there.

The wedding was really nice! The people were great. My cousin got married at the hall and had her heart set on having an outdoor ceremony! As they were setting up outdoors it began to rain so they brought it all in and set up inside but my cousin really had hear heart set on outside so we all hung out and waited and when the rain stopped (half hour after the designated start of the wedding) they set up outside and we had an out door wedding. (I dont know if this cost her extra or anything)
THe food was good as were the drinks! The only bad things I can remember were that there was a sweet 16 I think that afternoon and they didnt take some of the balloons out of the dining room, lucky though that they were clear and actually looked like bubbles (the b-day was an under the sea type theme) so that wasnt too bad.

Then they took awhile getting the food out for the cocktail hour. I remember that the passed hor d'orves wherent plentiful but they were good!

The place was really beautiful and the food was very good! I am sure you will have a great day!!
