Keratin hair treatment

Keratin hair treatment

has saved my frizzy/curly haired life. Doing it again 3 weeks before the wedding so the day of and HM are frizz free. I usually straighten it (with a flat iron) every day = tedious.

How is your hair normally?

I had VERY curly hair and I did the japanese a few times. I stopped over a year ago and the last of it is almost gone. I hated how flat and lifeless my hair was.

My hairdresser told me to try the Keratin, but I'm hesitant...

My hair is FRIZZY and curly - not tight curls but I can get them nice. I don't recommend Japanese treatment. It's like permanant straight - you can't do anything. With the Keratin, you just get rid of frizz. You can do your hair curly 5 days later if you want or you can not even blow dry it and it will be straight.

Not going to lie - the first week it was FLAT. Even the second week. That's why I'm going to do it 3 weeks ahead. By week 3 you're good to go. I'm on week 6 right now and at most, I have waves after blow drying.

my coworker and myself have been talking about getting the Keratin treatment done for the past few weeks...i've heard good things about it

where do you get it done and how much do you pay?
one salon told me $250

$250 is about right - it depends on the lenght of your hair. I go to Christie & Co Salon and Spa in Bay Terrace (Bayside Qns)

Mine told me it has to do with how long your hair is. My hairdresser said it would prob be $225 for me. My hair is layered, but the longest layer is to the middle of my back.

my sister and FSIL both swear by this!
i'm too afraid. I like my curls sometimes and I get my hair pretty dang straight anyway without it.

I like my curls sometimes too and I can get it pin straight with a straightener. The thing with Keratin is you can still get your curls but you don't have to work at it to get it straight!
