Keurig or Tassimo? sorry so many posts!

Re: Keurig or Tassimo? sorry so many posts!

i just bought my dad the tassimo. the reason i chose that over the keurig is bc my dad really likes starbucks and seattles best and you can only get those coffee pods for the tassimo. we have the keurig at work and its okay (i think the water at work isn't great so its prob better if you use the at-home version). i tried the tassimo i bought for my dad and thought it was really good

Never used the Tassimo, but we also have Kuerig at work and it's pretty good. We actually just got a new fancy machine that makes espresso, too!

Never heard of Tassimo, but I LOVE my new Keurig and the coffee/tea/hot chocolate selection is pretty decent

Re: Keurig or Tassimo? sorry so many posts!

I so got a tassimo for an Engagement gift and its WAY awesome!

The coffe is good, its easy to use and easy to maintain.

The WAY best part is that is has a small footprint, so takes up just a little bit of counter space.

I love mine.

My parents have a Tassimo and I love it, plus it makes cappuccino! What I like about the Keurig is that it makes larger servings and I think you can put a travel mug in it... hmmm decisions decisons!

Re: Keurig or Tassimo? sorry so many posts!

Yep, my favorite thing about my Keurig is that I can make my travelmu gof coffee for the car in 30 seconds on ym way out the door to class. I'm not an early riser so easy coffee prep is key. My roommate moved out in August and took her Keurig with her and I didnt' take coffee to school with me once until I got my machine for Christmas, lol. ALWAYs late!

Re: Keurig or Tassimo? sorry so many posts!

I have the keurig...it's pretty good

but I wish I had the Tassimo- I feel like the coffee selection is better- mainly bc they have starbucks brand.

i would decide based on what kind of coffee you like!

I have the Keurig. I love the ease of it, but it took me awhile to find coffee strong enough for me. Try Emeril's if you like it strong! Everything else was way too weak, and I almost thought I made a mistake getting it until I found the Emeril one (BBB carries it)!

Re: Keurig or Tassimo? sorry so many posts!

I like both. I think there is a better selection for the Tassimo but the Keurig's K Cups are sold in more places and you can buy a thing that let's you make your own K cup and then any type of coffee you want. And you can do different sizes. But the tassimo makes latte's and other drinks that incorporate milk. If they both were to go out of business tomorrow though you could still use your Keurig by the making your own K Cup thingy (which was less than $20 at BB&B) and if you have a favorite type of coffee you can use it anyway.
