Have you and FH discussed the subject of children? How soon after being married do you want to try?
I've had baby fever for about a year now. But I am in no place right now to even be thinking about babies. FH wants to wait at least two years until we're on our own two feet and financially secure. He wants to have it all planned out and especially have a house. Makes sense but I can't lie, I'm excited about starting a family with him!

If it was up to FH we will have HM baby but I want to wait 1 year but I know FH won't let me so we have agreed to wait 6-8 months at least.

I want to wait at least 3 or 4 years after we are married. I want some time for us to enjoy eachother and be able to travel alone before we start trying to have babies!

WE have talked about it and we would both like to wait a few years but Due to me getting older waiting to long isnt really an option.

We will probably wait about a year before we start trying... we'll need a year to get used to each other 24/7 first!

Probably atleast a year if we decide to have one. I'm still not sure if I want any. FH's son lives with us and we definitly have our hands full with him already.

we really haven't talked about when or how many yet, simply because we're nowhere near a point where we could comfortably raise children. I won't be done with nursing school until 2010 and I'll be out of work for a year while I finish my degree. after that i think we have to recoup our savings while I work for a bit before we can even think about having children. i know we both want them, but it's soooo far in the future.

that sounds like me and FH except I want a HM baby and he wants to wait a year so we decided to meet half way and wait 6 months

Probably a good year just to get used to married life first! If I had my way Id start trying on the HM!

We've talked about it and the plan is house first then kids... so maybe three years after we're married.

We want to wait a little while...at least a year. After the miscarriage i had last year, it has really changed our thoughts on children. We both want to have stable jobs and a house first..but of course i say this now and will end up with a HM baby

FH & I are gonna sooo try for kids right after HM next year. We both have our degrees and very good jobs but are not set in our careers, at the same time, we are very comfortable where we are. We're moving in my parents garage for 2 years to save for 1st house in NJ.

We'll probably wait 3-4 years. I want to be 28 or 29 before I have one that way we are settled. Right now we rent a 625sq ft apartment....I can't imagine having a baby in this place. We'll wait till we buy a house/bigger apartment.

We're probably going to have kids in 5-7 years when I've gotten through a good portion of my PhD and we have the time. Because of school, if we waited until we were financially stable, we'd be waiting until we're close to 40. So we're just going to do it when I don't have to worry about finals and things.
Plus if I take a semester to write my dissertation I can be with the baby and not have to feel pressured to go back to work. At least for the first baby I really want to be around for the first few months and nowadays they really rush you to get back to work as soon as possible.
If I wasn't in school we probably would only wait 2 or 3 years. I wanted to have kids young, and pop 3 out fast. Oh well.

Well, I am older than most 09's I think...at 31. I think I logically should wait awhile until we are situated...but I must say I worry a bit. Nowadays I hear all the time about friends...or friends of friends that cant get pregnant. Friends that have spent $1000's trying just be let down over and over. I am sorry to sound so depressing and crazy but I dont want to wait...it may take awhile....
