kids

what's the age cut off? what exceptions are you making? FH has some younger ones (6-14) that are his first cousins. Then there are some around the same ages if not younger that are his 2nd cousins. I asked that he limit it to just the 1st cousins. I have no children on my side.

The only kids invited to my wedding is my 1st cousins and the kids in the bp party (obviously).. Our cut off age is 16... Between my family and FH family there is over 30 children under 16 and we cant have that.

Only kids invited are in the bridal party...on my side i only have one first cousin who is younger than me and she is 22. So she is invited. And fh's youngest first cousin is 16 and hes invited, the other one is 18 and the rest of them are older.

We are inviting kids to our wedding. We both have very large families and we are close on both sides. We are only inviting the kids we see all the time.
We both dont agree on the age limit, only beacuse if you say only 18 or older only... and you have one family who has a few kids and the oldest is 18 what abou the other childern.... we just dont think thats fair to the parents and the other children. HTH

At first we decided we were only going to have the kids in our bridal party which are my son, niece and my moh's son. But now it turns out since FH sisters and brother are coming out of town & they dont have anyone to leave their kids with and they probably wouldnt leave their kids behind anyway, we are now having about 8 kids....Family is the exception in my case.

We didnt exclude kids from the wedding at all. Not every parent chose to bring them but we did extend the invitation to everyone.

I'll be honest all the kids are invited except my niece. She just turned one and both the parents are in the bridal party. My FH and I feel that this is not an event for a baby. I want everyone to enjoy themselves not have to run around and babysit a one year old.

We are having two children, one is 12 years old and the other one is 6 years old, and they are FH's first cousins. Other than that, everyone will be older and I did not invite people with their kids.

We're inviting all nieces, nephews regardless of age. When it comes to cousins and friends we are making some exceptions based on closeness to each of us. For example one of his cousins has two teenagers, that cousin grew up with FH like another brother and his teens grew up with FH's nieces and nephews and were very close and come to all family functions, so we're inviting them.

The kids at our wedding will be anywhere between 2-17 years old.

I know lots of girls are against having kids at their weddings, but I think they're going to add a lot of joy and cuteness to our day.

We are only inviting FH's nephews, one of which is in the BP. Our RH has been told that no children other then them are permitted into the reception.

We are inviting neices/nephews and first cousins. I have a lot of older cousins with children and we are not inviting them. If we did, it would really become a child invasion lol.
