We're having 0 kids at our wedding. FH and I decided that it's an adult affair only. Being that the reception ends at 1AM, I don't think anyone will mind. Also, our friends with young children have told us they don't want to bring their kids because they won't be able to have as much fun if they're there. This is also why there aren't any children in our bridal party.

only kid invited to my wedding is my youngest brother who will only be 10 yrs old. I have tooo many first cousins that are under the age of 16yrs old so....I am not inviting them plus I am alot closer to my second cousins that I invited and my mom's side of the family cousins so in order to invite them (since one cousin will only be 17 I could not keep the age limit at 21) therefore some of my cousins on my dads side (who i am not close with but ill invite anyway) are invited bec I have about 3 cousins who are younger than 21 but older than 17 on my dads side
but FH only has 4 first cousins and they are all older than 21 and his second cousins are invited as well and they are all married wiht kids- their kids are not invited though. But FH has a very small family- especially since alot of his family and parents friends are still in romania

what's the age cut off? what exceptions are you making? FH has some younger ones (6-14) that are his first cousins. Then there are some around the same ages if not younger that are his 2nd cousins. I asked that he limit it to just the 1st cousins. I have no children on my side.
Same here. I have a lottttt of 2nd cousins that I watched grow up, but we can't invite them. FH has 5 first cousins under the age of 12. (thank god, they meet our 'child' age limit so that I can pay 2/3 for them) So we are inviting first cousins only. Exception to that is my niece, who is the flower girl and will be one and a half at the time of my wedding.

Only kids are in the wedding party ( my FH godchildren are our flower girls) my neices and nephews ( i have 7) - total 9

we are inviting children to our wedding but only my nieces and nephews. They are the between the ages of 1 - 5 and there are 7 of them. I couldnt tell my brothers and sisters that I didnt want their children there b/c me and FH love them so much. They will probably run around and be under peoples skirts but o well.
We really dont have any teenagers that just how it worked out....
