Yes we are. We'll have around 8 kids under 10 (6 under 5).

Re: Kids
Actually, we put nix on kids. We have a lot of children in our families, but we just invited the parents. I didn't think it would be appropriate to have children at a Saturday evening, formal wedding where there will be lots of drinking going on. I would have definitely invited the kids though if we were having a maor casual day wedding.

Re: Kids
Not that young but I am having my younger sisters and nieces at the wedding. Someone just gave me a great idea to but together a favor for them like coloring books (all the same of course so they don't fight over them) so the times they just want to relax and color they can. This way, the parents can get a chance to dance. Just a suggestion.
we had an 18 month and a 3 1/2 year old...both were perfect angels (but we had an afternoon wedding)

Re: Kids
We are only inviting tops 150 people and most of my family has children. We are having a sat night formal wedding - I didn't have a choice with FH's neices' and nephew (he and his family was insistant on this) the problem comes in that our family. I am inviting about 50 family members if we don't invite children will will lose about 30 people. They are not local so it isn't like they can find a babysitter for the evening (they are traveling from virginia, Washington, DC, California.)
We will probably keep them off to the side with some games and entertainment maybe put off in the side room- with someone to watch them. Not sure of the logistics

Re: Kids
Other than my niece (4 and FG), my nephew (who's only one) and FH's godson (6 and RB), we put an age limit for 12 and under. His family is just too big and we made the decision to have more adults rather than children.

Re: Kids
Just my FG and RB. We wanted an adult event. Both myself and FH don't think an evening wedding is a place for children. It's really a matter of personal preference. Do what makes you happy!

Re: Kids
I was actually just about to put a post on this. I had the same question. I don't want any kids at all, we're having a Fri night wedding, and both sides like to drink- a lot!! I just don't think you can enjoy yourself as much if everyone has kids running all over the place that you have to keep an eye on- and pay for. We are however having my nephew who will be 7, and the Jr groomsmen, my godson who will 3 and the RB, his neices and nephew ages 6-15, and his god-daughter,7. And honestly, I'm trying to think of a way to cut all of them out. I don't want any kids, and I'm gonna end up with 7!!

We're having about 15 kids, but only the 4 in the wedding are under the age of 10, rest are 13+

Re: Kids
The only kids I am having are my FG's. They will be 9 & 7. They are both well behaved & very mature for their ages.
My stepmother asked me to invite my stepbrothers kids but I told her NO WAY but of course in a nicer way.
