i'm having a small shower at my mom's house (25ish people total) ... 3 of these women have children ... do they get invited too?

Thanks!

We're not having kids at mine. The youngest will be my 15-year-old cousin.

the only kids at mine were my 2 FG's. Otherwise it would have been baby central! i think only ppl's kids that are in your BP, if any.

well, one of the girls is 6 years old and is technically my half-sister (dad & his wife adopted her) .... the other girl (FH's niece) is the FG ... the last child is a boy (FH's nephew) but i don't know if it would start drama to invite the niece and not the nephew.

My mom only invited my 2 nieces to the shower. They are my flower girls.

FMIL insisted kids (girls only) must be invited to the shower.

So yeaa... I'll have three 2 yr olds, a 6 yr old, 2 tweens, and 1 teenager (16)

And only 1 of the babies is my FG, and the 6 yr old is my FG - so technically they are allowed.

The only children in our family are my niece ( 3) nephew ( 1) and fh cousin 2 kids (3girl) & ( 8 boy). Both the girls are invited ( my niece was the FG) Dh cousin got sick so her and her daughter did not come! If its only 3 girls I would just invite them but its totally up to you.

Originally only adult women (and my teenage cousins) were invited but FMIL made a big stink about her grandkids not being invited I had to end up letting everyone bring their kids. And then on the day, some of them didn't even bring their kids and my mom paid for them.

Having the kids there was a little bothersome at times, there were balloons flying everywhere and onto peoples food. And when it was time to open my gifts, FH's cousin's sons started opening my gifts before I even saw who it was from.

no way! i told my mom that there will be no kids at my shower... they're already going to be at the wedding and a shower is not a place for small children!

I'm inviting the children that will be invited to the wedding.

My cousin has two little girls and of course there is FSD...they will be at the shower for like the first 20 min and then they will go away with the menfolk somewhere else.

It might be bridezilla...but I want the attention on me, and they're so cute that they'll steal it all away. Watch out, my horns will get you!
