Kids At The Wedding

For those of you NOT having kids at the wedding, did you have a cutoff age?

If you are inviting small kids, (and choose to respond) please state whether your reception is day or evening.

The kids in my BP are under 6 and will be leaving after they are announce at the hall.

The only kids that will be there are 2 of my fg (4 & 5) & our RB (6) b/c they are the children of our bp & are in the wedding. My youngest niece is going home after the ceremony pics.

Only 'Younger' Kids are the ones in the BP, otherwise only 18+

Only 5 bridal party kids that's it!!
I had a friend ask to bring her kid...OMG! I can't believe the nerve of some people.

Only kids of close family are allowed. It will be 'encouraged' that they not attend, but we will invite them. We have too many OOT family guests who likely wouldn't attend if their kids couldn't come.

the cutoff for us was 18. Of course there are 3 coming that are under 18 but they are in the immediate family (FIL's brother's kids)

I'm thinking about cutting down the kid count myself. My FH has two cousins who are still young, but they are well behaved, so I don't see a problem. I'll still have a room just for the kids because my wedding will run late. So I figure after dinner they can go to bed in the sunday school room until their parents come get them. I have four girls in my BP, I'm going to talk to their parents about finding a way home for them. I don't want them out so late. Especally since the oldest of the bunch will be five, and two of them will be 2 yrs olds.

I voted for the BP kids under 18 only, because this was my original plan. Turns out that I will now have all sorts of kids at the wedding, which is at night.

We are having a day wedding so we aren't so concerned about how small children will handle it (no late hours, etc). For our OOT cousins, we are inviting their children - independent of age. We are also inviting all our 1st cousins (have some young ones). For everyone else it is 18 or older. We just can't afford to be inviting in-town second cousins or second cousin's children who are under 18 (much to my FIL's dismay )

I only invited 16 and over, with the exception of my 2 nephews and FH's 1 nephew. I'm having a Saturday night wedding.

this is a hard one...me and fh niece/nephew are/will be under 3 day off..but will be in the bridal party...so they will go home after pics.....

our cousins have children...their ages range from 2-16.... i was thinking of inviting the 4 eldest who are 12-16...reason being that they are old enough to get insulted......that's where we are now. hope it helps!

The ONLY kids at the wedding will be the 2 that are in the bridal party....

but FMIL thinks I'm inviting FH's second cousins...ummm NO.

No one under 18. Not even BP.
(except for my nephew who'll be 9 months old and hopefully sleeping for most of it).

We're having the kids in the bridal party, and probably 2 babies that are both from out of town, along with FH's half brothers & sister who are under 18. otherwise it is 18 or over... it's a Saturday night, younger then that and they shouldn't be out!!
