Hey guys, are you having kids at your wedding? me and my FH are thinking we wont....except for my son LOL and the kids in the b-party.....

LOL exactly! I agree with you guys...My son will be 2 years old and I think we want him to be the only kid besides the bridal party.
The issue is that there are so many kids in my family (nieces.nephews etc) & I feel a little bad if we dont invite them...but then again--we're spending all this money and we dont want kids running around, crying etc....In a couple of years They wont even remember it! PLUS having kids is extra $$$$$
is it tacky to write 'adult reception' on the invitation? LOL

We are going to have a High school rule. No kids that are not in high school. FH and i dont want any kids running around the RH lol. Plus i think parents deserve a night away from the kids so they get to be adults again. Plus why pay for a plate when most kids are picky and prob wont eat anything on the menu! lol

No kids. No exceptions. After attending 3 weddings this year, we've reinforced that decision. It's just too much hassle..not to mention extra $$ for a child's plate when they would rather be eating McDonald's. We also plan on stating in our invites 'adult only reception'

Then that makes us TWO mean ones then... I would do the same thing....
Think about it. While you're saying your vows, you'll be so happy and emptional, you won't be able to get angry at anything! No death glares allowed!

Having this issue now.. FH and I agreed only the kids in the bridal party..
Now his 1/2 sister is 'insulted' that her kids werent invited, especially if there will be 'other' kids there...

Oh no what ru going to do? My issue is that OOTmight not travel b/c of no kids rule.. Otherwise were only having bridal party & my son... I guess they will get over it lol
