Hey guys, are you having kids at your wedding? me and my FH are thinking we wont....except for my son LOL and the kids in the b-party.....
whats your take?

I think it depends on the time of the wedding and how young the kids are. I'm thinking no kids under maybe 10.. unless they're in the bridal party. (Mostly because the wedding isn't til 7:30 PM)

I honestly don't think there would be a lot of kids at my wedding if I say its ok, none of my friends have kids, and everyone else is too old to have young kids. FH's step-sister and good friend are both pregnant right now, and if it means the difference between having them there and not (they're both OOT) then I think we're going to have children. I'm having aday wedding so I don't think people would be getting too crazy anyway.

The only kids im having is my RB and FG. Other than that 18 and older.

I am not sure yet. This is tough because some of the families that I am inviting have children of all ages... I can't invite their 16 year old and not their 4 year old, ya know?
So I will probably invite the entire family, but I am confused though because I would rather not have infants and young children...

only BP here which is 6 kids but no babies.. youngest will be 4 then 7 and older..
I been to wedding with babies there n its just so distracting with strollers in the room

Ugh true I totally agree... I'm not good with kids so I would really like to have little to none, but I also am sooo worried my OOT'ers won't travel and this would crush FH. If they don't travel though I doubt its bc of the kids, and bc of the distance but still....

Only the kids in the BP (my daughter, she'll be 12, my niece & nephew (twins, will be 7), and my younger sister on my dad's side (she'll be 12). That's it!

We are having all kids come..there are only a handful of them so we dont rly mind. we are prob going to call all of the parents and ask if they want us to hire a sitter for the night so that they can hang if they want

This is the hard one. At first we said absolutely not only 18 and over. But then I started thinking about it. I have 2 second cousins that I am extremely close with. At my wedding one will be almost 16 and the other will be almost 18. It is not really them but I feel like if I invite them I have to invite their cousins (who I am not as close with). They will be almost 16 and the other almost 14 or so.
Then there is my 1st cousins who will also be around 10 or so. I am just torn on many levels. We are trying to keep it small and there are people that I would like to invite from work but cant and here I am adding 6 'kids'
I guess when the time comes I will have to make my final decisions.

I don't know, I think all kids are cute. If a kid had done that at my wedding, I would've MELTED not been annoyed. It's a matter of opinion.
