I actually dont. FH ahs two that live with us...and they are more than I can handle. It's just asming that people think I am insane when I tell them I dont want them. My dad called me the other day and said...' we didnt raise you like this, traci. where does this come from?' Like i am making a bad decision! Anyone else not want kids?

We are not having kids. FH has son with his ex and that's plenty. We enjoy our kid time as well as our kid free time. We have the best of both worlds and don't want to ruin it with children. I enjoy my freedom as does FH. My mom is upset and everyone keeps saying 'oh, you'll want them', but I know I won't change my mind. If I ever get the urge I just take my stepson and niece out and that's all the BC i need.
And I feel you on the Ex drama.......been dealing with that since day one. The stories......I could really write a book.

we want kids, just NOT yet. I want to adopt all of my kids...FH wants his own kids..that is the dilema...

We talked about this a few days ago on here and I was surprised at how many girls said they did not want kids.
I definitely do want children. I always have and I cannot wait. We have 5 nephews and I love to spoil them!

Not at all!! I'm with you 110% on the no kids!! It's just not for me and I've always known that. Besides it sounds like you got your hands full with his two as it is.

No, kids. FH has a son who is 28. I've raised my godson who is 24. I have nieces and nephews. I love children. My FH and I love traveling and we are in our 40's I love the freedom of going away. That may sound wrong, but each couple is different.

I agree with the best of both worlds. Every other weekend the kids go to their mom's...which helps me keep my sanity. This weekend was full of kid activities and I had a great time...but I am loving the fact that this weekend it's just me and FH. If I had my own kids...no one would take them every other weekend!!

That's exactly how we feel. Next weekend we are spending the weekend in the city....couldn't do that if we had our own. When my stepson is 18, we're out of here. Couldn't do that if we had our own because we'd feel guilty pulling them away from everyone.

Yes, we want them. We want 2 or 3 - it depends on how quickly we have them. I'll be 31 when we get married, but want to wait a year or two before we have them.
