No kids. About a week ago, FH and I was going to call the wedding off because it was going way over $30,000. Well on of the first things we did was go over the guess list to find out we had ( I had) over 45 kids on the list that was $2100.00. So if i was you I would think about that. But on the other hand if you can afford it then you go girl and do your thing.

Well I think nieces and nephews are acceptions to the no kids rule

This is one of the hardest decisions! Thankfully, I don't have any very young children in my family except for my niece and nephew who are the FG and RB.

I know when my brother got married, there were a lot of young children in the family. I think they decided to invite them, but everyone kind of persuaded the parents (in a nice way) not to bring the kids.

Some of my best friends from college have kids already, and they'll be 2 or 3 at the time of my wedding. But my ceremony will be out on a big lawn, so if they start crying or whatever, their moms can just take them across the lawn where they won't bother anyone. They're good friends of mine and nice girls; I can count on them to do that for me. And it's a Sat. afternoon reception, so totally not formal, and it's fine with me if kids are there. If it were a Sat. night formal affair, or a church ceremony i'd probably think differently.
