kids or no kids at the e-party

My fiance and I do not want kids at the eparty or at the wedding......however, my bridesmaid is my cousin and she has 3 small kids...and his Best Man has 2 kids....all under 5 yrs old.

Other than that, there are no children......also I am inviting 2 family members from my step fathers side (who is like a father to me and walking me down the isle) but i cant stand their son......do I have to invite the son and daughter if I am inviting all of my other cousins?

If you cant stand him dont invite him lol.. it might not look good if the kids dad is walking you down the isle. but you make the calls lol..

For our eparty, almost all of my FH's cousins have babies we didnt invite them but i invited my cousins baby lol

My stepfather is walking me down the isle...not the kids father. LOL

The kids father is first cousins with my stepdad.

Our rule was if its not the flowergirls/ring boy or the siblings of those two then your not invited.

The only kids we want at our wedding, rehearsal dinner and e-party are my nieces and nephews! No other couple is being invited with their kids and the wording on the invites will reflect that. Let's hope people are considerate

I think you should only invite who you want...but do you think your stepfather will be upset if you don't invite his kids?

Ohh I just reread it...if its not your stepfathers son then I wouldn't worry about inviting him. Its your wedding and you should put your happiness first!

Yeah its my stepfathers cousin, cousins wife and their 2 kids (they are both in their early 20s though) the one kid is just soooooooooooo annoying though.,..think Jonathan Silverman in his most annoying movie role ever......I cant take it lolol

We had the same rule.

I think it does cause problems if they aren't in the bridal party and you have other chidren there but not your stepfathers, cousins son and daughter (did I get that right)?

All I can say is no matter what you do people are going to complain. If you invite all the kids, adults will complain they have to trip over kids. If you invite no kids, the parents will complain. And if you invite only some kids, the parents will complain. No matter what, it's a lose, lose situation. Honestly, if I was in your shoes, I would probably invite the other children and just say their parents are in the bridal party and we invited bridal parties and their families.

I agree! The only kids allowed (all of 3) at both will be the ones in the wedding. And one is 10..so doesn't count that much as a kid..lol
