Kids say the silliest things!!

So, you may or may not know that I teach Freshman comp.

On the first day of class we go around the room... everyone says their name and tells us something interesting about them...

One student says that his hobbies include 'smoking weed and having my d*ck ******'

WHEN DID THAT BECOME APPROPRIATE TO SAY IN A CLASSROOM?

um... wow. thats sad that a young adult would even think thats something appropriate to say in a classroom.

With that said, I hope you threw a book upside his head to knock some sense into him.

I would report to your dept head. That ain't right. I would TOTALLY complain if a kid in my freshman class at UCLA said that. Is there a councilor you can refer him to?
