My FH and I get into this all the time. I want to be 24 when we start (we are 22 now) and he wants to be 28!!! He said he wants to be 26 when we start so we would have a kid at 27!
What is the age you want to have kids?

im 23 and FH is 26......we want to start trying after i have tenure. so that would be about 25-26 for me and about 28-29 for FH

what branch are you in? I would actually like to be in the military when i have a baby, benefits are amazing!
I'm a marine. We both are. The benefits are the same for all branches but as you know we are more of a deploying force. But we will see. I have some time

Well we talk about them everyday! We have three of those little suckers already..... We might have another if the $ is there and the major IF is if I'M up to it.

FH lovesssss kids as do I, I would liek to start trying 5-6 months after being married so we are settled in.

I'm 29 I'll be 30 when we get married! fh is37. We've done a lot of things together and basically live together. SO by the time we are married we have experienced a lot of life and past times, and experiences etc. Together ya know? Also he is already nervous he is old I used to say I would never live together before marriage but he lives 10 min. From my job it is SO convenient though. But i still don't do certain things I will do as a wife. ex. Decorate completely the way I would like to, cook a lot etc. I know this sounds dumb, but it makes me feel better.

we are 29 now and still argue about waiting...he isn't ready at all and I wanted to start trying in a year.....ugh, men!

Yes we have as I feel it is an important topic to openly and frequently discuss BEFORE you decide to get married. FH & I both came to an agreement that we would not start on our family until 2-3 years after we have been married.

I'm 33 and FH is 37. We are going to start in a few months....but not stress about it. If Im not prego in 1 year, we'll turn to science to start conceiveing. SO EXCITING.
