KimmieG Dessert Receipe

I have a great dessert, EVERYTIME, i have made it so far, people have gone crazy for it! my BIL acutally made me make another one for him at the end of the party so he could take it home!! here it is:
Apple Crisp

about 5 granny smith apples, peeled cored and cut into half moons. Spread them on the bottom of the pan. Then add about 3/4 of a bag of yellow cake mix on top of the apples..I like them to be covered. Then you add butter This depends on your taste, i like it to be cakey, so i add lots of butter, about 2 sticks, to cover all the cake mix. Then i add cinimon sugar ALL over the top. Cook on 350 for about 20-25 minutues..
This is great and everyone always loves it!! serve it with cool whip or icecream!!!! If you make it., let me know how it turns out!!!

Re: KimmieG Dessert Receipe

sounds good! Do you melt the butter or cut into pieces to cover? and it's just cake mix out of the bag??? Or make the cake mix and then cover the apples with it

Re: KimmieG Dessert Receipe

Did you get that recipe from Pampered Chef? That is there 'Quick Apple Crisp', they have another one, 'Mom's Apple Crisp' that is even better. It uses oats, graham cracker crumbs, flour, cinammon, nutmeg and butter. Enjoy!
