'Kim's Beverly Hills home and all of her assets are protected,' the insider says of Kardashian, 30, who Forbes estimates made $12 million in 2010.
'Additionally, she keeps anything she earns during the marriage.'

As a 'normal' person, I don't believe in prenups...but for a celeb, it is definitely a must!

Re: kim's prenup
I get why she would get a pre-nup, but in my mind it's almost as if you're preparing/assuming for the worst to happen - seems to just make the whole idea of marriage as a business transaction.

i'm on the fence about prenups.. i can't pick a side.
i completely agree with what you said, but then again, i feel like it's not realistic.
unfortunately, people get divorced more often than not and i see nothing wrong with protecting your assets.
ugh, such a hard decision. luckily, i have no major assets

I get what you mean -- and it's totally unrealistic w/ the % of divorces, but in my head the rationale I have is --- if you're getting a prenup to protect your assets, it's because you're assuming you'll get a divorce. Totally get that others see it differently, and that's fine, just how my mind works. I also don't make $12 million a year lol

Re: kim's prenup
We used her as a spokesperson for an event - and I can TOTALLY see how she makes $12million/year based on what we paid her LOL for like 3 hours of work lol
