cyst on your overy?? i went to gyno for regular checkup and he said i have a cyst and i have to go get a pelvic sonogram on fri. he said its common and dont worry, but i am a little worried. has anyone ever had this or gone through it before?

i had one that burst....most painful thing ever. the docs thought it was appendicitis but it turned out to be a cyst (which was actually better) I haven't had one since and I am not currently on BC pills

yes its very common. I have had one for years on the right side. It pretty much stays the same but It has burst once and that really wasnt too much fun but I was fine after a few days. It just really hurt. As long as they monitor it and it doesnt grow you should be ok. Isnt it fun being a girl??

My friend has them and I'm finding it's more and more common than we know. One of her cyst's burst and it caused her a lot of pain, but she is okay.

I had a cyst on my ovary - not to scare you, but I was in so much pain that I couldn't even walk. I went to the gyno and she put me on BCP. That was about 5-6 years ago and I've been fine ever since!

I had a couple of them and they both burst on their ownwhen I gotmy period.. It took like 6 months for them to go away but they did.// nothing big ll dont worry

I had one and didn't know it until it ruptured. Now that hurts like no other.
They are definitely more common than I thought. Both my sisters have had them too. Definitely be happy they found it.

I had fybroid tumor and I have them remove back in July 2000. You will be fine. Please keep us in the loop, we are here for each other.
