kinda bummed ....

so one of my many missing rsvp's is a girl who was supposed to be a bm in my wedding. she dropped out about 8 months prior to the wedding, but promised she'd be at the wedding to celebrate.

since our rsvp date was almost 2 weeks ago i had emailed her to see what her deal is (she lives out of state).

just got an email back from her saying she can't make it to the wedding. with more excuses.

i guess its true what they say .... you really do learn who your friends are in this whole wedding planning process.

i want to send her back a sort of snippy email, fh says not to or at least to wait a few days to see how i'm feeling then.

could use some hugs girls .....................................

wouldn't even respond to her... For what??

Hugs, smurf... So sorry she's a flake :( but THANK GOODNESS you didn't have to deal with a FLAKY BRIDESMAID which is even worse than a FLAKY FRIEND.

I recently had a snippy email exchange with someone and REALLY doesn't help clear anything up, just makes you think about it MORE, which is the 100% opposite of what you want!!!

Why not write the snippy email HERE, to us!! This is a safe place and you can use all the blue language you want, you might feel better!!!!

I am SO sorry. I would wait on responding. You don't want your emotions doing all the talking right now, and in a few days, you may not even want to respond.

I wouldn't stress too much over this. You are going to have a wonderful wedding day, and be surrounded by those who love you most.

awww i totally know how you feel. We had called a couple that we are pretty close with and then emailed them for like 3 weeks and they finally said that it wasnt a good time bc they are busy. What are you going to do but understand that you won't put yourself out for these people in the future...

I'm soo sorry to hear that!!! I wouldn't even respond. Don't even waste your time. Let her realize that she hurt you but not responding- she will get the message and you will feel like a bigger person. Sorry again!!!

I would want to respond but I wouldnt-only b/c as someone else said you will just keep thinking about it. Im sorry that it takes a wedding to find out who your real friends are
